  • Get as far away from buildings, trees, electricity wires, and roadways as possible. If your building has a designated assembly space that is secure, go there.
  • Keep in mind that smoke rises. It is also lethal.
  • Even if you can handle the smoke while standing, crawling to the door is safer.
